Questions.
- What am I actually buying?
- Grams of fine gold that we hold for you. You pay with USDT, and what you are buying is the gold.
- Are the coins pure gold?
- Not always, and it makes no difference to your balance. Krugerrands are 22 carat: 33.930 g gross, 91.67% gold, with copper in the alloy so they do not scratch. That coin still contains exactly 31.1034768 g of fine gold, a full troy ounce. Cast bars and our own rounds are 999.9. We credit fine content either way, which is why we never quote one purity for the whole holding.
- Why is it below the market price?
- We buy gold under the market by refining second hand jewellery and buying from other refiners, and we pass part of that to early clients. The discount is tiered and narrows as the release fills. Your quote shows your exact rate before you pay.
- How do I pay?
- USDT on TRON TRC-20. Instructions come with your order. Send on any other network and the funds are usually unrecoverable, including by us.
- Can I get the actual gold?
- Not at launch. Physical delivery is not built and is not on offer. We refine and fabricate, so it is the obvious thing for us to add, and when it is approved and working we will say so here. Until then the service is buying fine gold and holding it.
- Will you do silver or copper?
- Gold only for now. We refine and fabricate other metals so we may add them, but we are not taking orders and we have not set terms. Treat it as a maybe rather than a plan.
- What happens to my gold if Liorvae fails?
- That depends on the ownership and custody structure, which is with our lawyers. We are not going to answer it with a reassuring sentence before it is settled and documented. When it is, it will be in the customer agreement and summarised here.
- Are you regulated?
- Liorvae Jewellers holds a Precious Metals Refining Licence from the SADPMR, number AP23598, which covers buying, refining and disposing of unwrought precious metals. Whether this specific service requires any further authorisation is a question we have put to counsel, and we will publish the answer rather than assert one now.
- Is my money safe while an order is open?
- Payments that arrive short, late, twice or from an address we cannot attribute go to review rather than being allocated automatically. They stay recorded as owed to somebody the entire time. Please do not send a second payment while an order is under review.
